Proven Group 1 Son Of Snitzel, Sizzling, To Stand At Magnum Park In Tasmania

Magnum Park is proud to announce that proven Group 1-winning stallion SIZZLING will stand in Tasmania for the upcoming breeding season.

A brilliant 2YO and Group 1-winning son of champion sire Snitzel from the General Nediym mare Admirelle, Sizzling brings elite Australian speed, proven performance and outstanding presence to the Tasmanian breeding industry.

Sizzling was one of the standout juveniles of his generation, winning the Group 1 BRC TJ Smith Stakes at two, along with the Group 2 Champagne Classic and Group 2 BRC Sires’ Produce Stakes, before later adding the Group 2 Queensland Guineas to his record.

He retired with seven wins, more than $1.3 million in prizemoney, and has since established himself as a proven source of winners at stud, producing over 215 individual winners and more than $20 million in progeny earnings.

Sizzling’s record at stud continues to receive national recognition. Recent Breednet statistics ranked him among Australia’s Top 20 Stallions in 2026 by winners-to-runners ratio for stallions standing at a service fee of $33,000 or less, with Sizzling the only stallion currently standing in Tasmania to feature on the list.

For Magnum Park’s Alexis Beadman, the opportunity to welcome Sizzling from New South Wales to Tasmania represents an exciting new chapter for both the horse and the farm.

“Sizzling is a horse we have admired for a long time,” Beadman said.

“He was an outstanding racehorse with genuine speed, toughness and presence, and we feel he offers something very exciting for Tasmanian breeders.”

“What really stood out to us was not only his race record and sire power, but also the type of horse he is physically. He has great strength, quality and athleticism, along with a beautiful temperament, and he has settled in wonderfully here at Magnum Park.”

“We’re incredibly excited to continue his journey here in Tasmania and look forward to introducing him to breeders throughout the upcoming season.”

The announcement continues Magnum Park’s growing commitment to developing a strong and progressive stallion roster within Tasmania, while providing breeders access to proven Australian bloodlines.

Further details regarding Sizzling’s upcoming season, including service fee and booking information, will be released shortly.
