Levendi was a horse of extraordinary presence, athleticism and determination. From the moment he stepped onto a racetrack, he carried himself with the class and professionalism of a top-level racehorse.
An unbeaten two-year-old winner over 1200 metres, Levendi progressed into one of the premier middle-distance three-year-olds of his generation, capturing the Group 3 Carbine Club Stakes, Group 2 Tulloch Stakes, and the Group 1 ATC Australian Derby in one of the fastest Derby times in modern history.
But beyond his performances on the track, Levendi became deeply loved for who he was every day at home. Intelligent, charismatic and full of personality, Levendi left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
His legacy now lives on through his offspring and through the memories he leaves behind at Magnum Park.
